reading inmortal rain the manga makes me very sad. ): even though it's an impossibility, the notion of a man who has walked the earth for 624 years, who cannot die and cannot be killed, who is so gentle and kind and even silly at times, yet the world seeks to kill him. why do people seek immortality? who wants to live forever? i wouldn't want to live to see all my loved ones wither and die.
